IMSD Apprentices honored at the Mizzou Black Men’s Initiative 10th Anniversary Banquet!

Last night at the Mizzou Black Men’s Initiative (MBMI) 10th Anniversary Banquet, two of our freshmen Stage II Apprentices were honored for their academic and community service achievements.  Brendan Ball received the MBMI Cares Award and Clayton Ivie received the Top Scholastic Achievement Award.  Both men are freshmen at Mizzou and joined labs this semester to begin their undergraduate research careers.  Brendan Ball, a Biological Sciences major, joined Dr. Shawn Bender’s Biomedical Sciences lab.  Clayton Ivie, Mathematics major, is working with Dr. Jacqueline Limberg’s Nutrition & Exericise Physiology lab.

Please join us in congratulating Brendan and Clayton!
